New Feature: Compare Projects

The new project comparison page lets you create charts comparing metrics for up to three different projects.

You can create timelines for total lines of code, number of contributors, and number of commits.

We welcome your feedback. Let us know if you have any problems or ideas for improvements!

How to compare Claws Mail with something? When I enter it, I always get comparison of the deleted record.

Thanks for reporting this Michal. It should be fixed now.

Please let me know if you still have problems.

fabulous addition, thanks. The next natural step should be making the graphs exportable as widgets.

    3 years later… :-)
Could someone explain to me how the refresh rate is supposed to be set? I love this tool, but my love made me dependent on it and the refresh frequency seems much too small to me. It should be something like a week or two, but it seems like it only refreshes every two months or so…

Also, there seems to be a mismatch between the chart lines and the time axis, so 2010 appears right now at the rightmost side while we are already in April, which has the tendency to make one believe the activity occurred much before their real date.

    Hi ywarnier,

The “Compare Projects” graph uses data that is grouped by month, so you’ll only be able to see updates once per month.

Probably even more frustrating, the monthly data has considerable lag. The graph is currently showing only January and February of 2010.
